Hi, I’m Rubi, and welcome to my page.

If you had asked me 10 years ago where I saw myself today, I probably wouldn’t have had a clear answer. That’s because I’ve always been someone who embraces the present moment and welcomes change with an open mind.

I recently graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Strategic Communication, along with a minor in Marketing. My academic journey has given me a strong foundation in strategic messaging, digital media, content creation, campaign planning, and audience research. During my time at UVU, I not only built knowledge in communication theory but also gained hands-on experience working with students, faculty, and organizations, which taught me the value of adaptability, collaboration, and leadership.

My passion for communication began at Ensign College, where I earned my Associate’s degree and first discovered the power of the digital world to connect people and ideas. As an immigrant in the U.S., I used digital platforms to stay informed about Spain, my hometown, and soon realized the power of media to build bridges across cultures and communities. That passion has guided me to where I am today: eager to bring creativity, strategy, and innovation to professional spaces.

What sets me apart is not just my education, but also the way I approach challenges. I thrive outside of my comfort zone, whether it’s taking on leadership roles, managing multiple responsibilities as a full-time student and employee, or learning new skills quickly. If someone tells me something can’t be done, I see it as an opportunity to prove through my actions that it can.
